To kick off Mother’s Day Weekend – My Mommy flew in first thing Friday morning and we hit the ground running. One thing that I love about Southern California is that you can find so many new places and go on so many adventures around your own city! There’s so much to see! So many places to explore! :)

We headed to Pasadena to kick off our adventures for the weekend. We started off by walking around Pasadena for a bit and then headed to The Langham Huntington for some high tea. I must say, tea parties are starting to become my favorite thing these days. This hotel is beautiful! Not to mention, their staff are very kind and helpful. Their tea room is absolutely divine with tall glass windows, plush chairs, beautiful views and live music from a beautiful pianist. It actually started pouring once we got to Pasadena but the view was still beautiful and quite calming. We barely see rain in Southern California so it was a nice little change :)

You get to pick 2 choices of tea for your table but the food is already pre-set with finger sandwiches, warm scones, macarons, desserts, etc. So delicious!

It may not look filling but we were stuffed by the end of our tea party :) I ordered the English Apple Tea and my mom had the Traditional English Breakfast Tea and I was very satisfied with my order. This is my 2nd time having high tea and I must say I really enjoyed this experience. I love the history that this place holds, the ambiance and the service. If you’re ever in the Pasadena area I would recommend stopping by for some high tea whether it’s for a special occasion or just because. Definitely worth it!

Oh! and right outside the tea room there’s a beautiful garden you can walk through. We didn’t walk through the garden because it was raining but we saw it through the glass doors and it’s beautiful with flowers, statues, bridges, benches, etc.
